The large-time solution of Burgers' equation with time dependent coefficients
In this presentation we will consider an initial-value problem for a class of Burgers' equations with time dependent coefficients. The method of matched asymptotic coordinate expansions is used to obtain the large-time solution of the problems under consideration. In particular, attention will be focused on the emergence of coherent structures in the large-time solution.
