A Posteriori Analysis for Hybrid Skeletal Numerical Methods
In this talk, we will review existing a posteriori error estimation techniques based on the flux equilibration technique for nonconforming finite element methods applied to the Poisson problem. We will subsequently investigate new strategies for constructing such estimates for hybrid skeletal numerical methods on general polygonal meshes.
