The cohomology ring of the moduli stack of principal bundles on curves

In joint work with A. Schmitt we gave an algebraic caluclation of the cohomology ring of the moduli stack of principal bundles on a curve. This generalizes a theorem of Atiyah-Bott for the case of Riemann surfaces to curves over fields of almost arbitrary characteristic. The proof uses the recent construction of projective coarse moduli spaces of principal bundles in positive characteristic.
