Equivariant K-homology of SL(3,Z)

We present the computation of the equivariant K-homology of the discrete group SL(3,Z) via the calculation of its Bredon homology with respect to finite subgroups and coefficients in the representation ring. Our calculations correspond to the topological side of the Baum-Connes conjecture for this group.
