Cohomology of the Grothendieck construction
In this talk I will recall three well-known tools that have been successfully used in the representation theory of finite dimensional algebras for the last years: quivers and relations, Galois coverings and Hochschild cohomology. I will mention some of their applications and the relation between them. Finally I will show that the relation between Galois coverings and Hochschild cohomology can be developed in a more general context, as has been shown in a joint paper with Teimuraz Pirashvili, considering the Grothendieck construction of a functor and studying the cohomology of this construction with coefficients in a natural system D, in the sense of Baues and Wirsching.
