Something about moduli spaces and quantisation

We will try to explain part of the appeal of considering moduli spaces in complex analytic/algebraic geometry, as well as their quantisation (relevant e.g. to quantum field theory). The main example we work on involves meromorphic connections on principal bundles over Riemann surfaces
