Overview

The Alexander Grothendieck Institute in Montpellier is a joint research unit between the University of Montpellier and CNRS, and one of the gateways to mathematics in East-Occitanie region.

The research at IMAG covers a wide spectrum, from fundamental mathematics to industrial applications. The Institute is comprised of 167 members.

The Institute is structured into four research teams: Analysis, Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing(ACSIOM), Didactics and Epistemology of Mathematics (DEMA), Probability and Statistics (EPS), and Geometry, Topology and Algebra.
