Shukla and Mac Lane cohomology of rings
Shukla cohomology is a sort of derived Hochschild cohomology and both theories are same for algebras which are free on the ground ring. Mac Lane cohomology is defined when the ground ring is the integers and is isomorphic to the topological Hochschild cohomology of corresponding Eilenberg-Mac Lane spectrum. We will discuss the relationship between Shukla and Mac Lane cohomology and give some computations.
