Two applications of reactive flows
Reactive flows are present in several process in nature. Two applications of reactive flows will be presented in order to give a general view of the equations solved and the numerical tools involved in the simulations. The first case is a spark plug ignition in which a Magneto-rheological solution from the first instants of the electrical discharge was used as input for a reactive flow simulation that accurately capture the pressure shock wave observed experimentally. The second application corresponds to thrombosis. Current methods to model this type of biological process will be review.
