Gaussian processes with applications in statistical learning and machine learning
Gaussian processes (GPs) have emerged as a powerful non-parametric framework in statistical learning and machine learning. Their modeling flexibility, ability to provide accurate predictions along with confidence intervals, and well-founded theoretical properties make them highly versatile. This seminar explores various applications of GPs across different domains, including engineering and biology, covering tasks such as regression, spatial modeling, surrogate modeling, transfer learning and active learning.
