Studying hamiltonian systems of Symplectic Field Theory
Symplectic Field Theory attaches to a contact manifold an infinite dimensional Poisson algebra and an infinite system of commuting elements therein. Such Hamiltonian system is an invariant of the contact structure. Older Gromov-Witten theory results (Witten, Kontsevich, Dubrovin, Givental) suggest to study the properties of such hamiltonian system and its possible integrability. In a joint project with O. Fabert we are covering the first steps of this program.
