Saghar Heidari obtained her Ph.D. in Computational Finance from Shahid Beheshti University, Iran. She has been a visiting researcher at the University of Nevada, US (2015–2016) and the University of Montpellier (IMAG), France (2018). She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Actuarial Science, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, at Shahid Beheshti University in Iran.
Her research interests include financial mathematics, computational finance, numerical analysis, and partial differential equations. More recently, her work has expanded to insurance and actuarial science, with a focus on applying numerical methods to partial differential equations arising in financial and insurance applications.
